Dahlia Watch

For Sellers

Helping your dahlias get discovered

Dahlia Watch is built to help dahlia growers and sellers get their listings discovered more easily.

This is not a marketplace. Customers are always directed to your own website to view and purchase your listings.

If some of your listings are missing, incomplete, or not matching correctly, there are a few common reasons that can happen.

Some website platforms are easier to crawl than others. In other cases, product titles, stock status, or page structure can make it harder for listings to be detected accurately.

In general, the easiest listings to detect have a clear cultivar name, a dedicated product page, visible pricing, and visible stock status. For best detection, the Dahlia name should be by itself in the product title. Including "Dahlia Tuber" or "Rooted Cutting" are also OK and recommended. Addtional words including ABS descriptions, colors, size, or "New Introduction" may cause a listing to be missed or not matched correctly. If you have a listing and it is not showing up, compare it to others that are listed to see what might need to be changed. Please reach out to me via the Dahlia Watch Facebook page if you have questions.

Password-protected pages, vague product titles, hidden inventory status, and unusual formatting can all make listings harder to show correctly.

Dahlia Watch currently works best with Shopify, Squarespace, Square, Wix, and WooCommerce. I'm still working on GoDaddy, EWCID, and other platforms.

If your listings are missing, that does not necessarily mean anything is wrong with your site. It may simply mean I have not fully tuned the crawler for your platform or page structure yet.

I am actively improving coverage and accuracy over time, and I appreciate your patience as the project continues to grow.

Everyone is invited to be part of the Dahlia Watch community, and I’m always happy to help troubleshoot and provide feedback on how to make your listings easier to find.
